PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To work alongside the e-commerce team to meet the graphic and web design needs of both the e-commerce team activity and other offline departments within the company. The Company seeks a competent and creative designer and web professional who can determine visual requirements that support organizational business goals and readily turn them into both graphical designs and web designs. The candidate will need to be bright, imaginative, and a capable designer with good communication skills and a wide array of experience with both online and offline design of brochures, web sites and advertising materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Designer is responsible for the creation of all online visual design, including typography, visual concept, logo and icon design for the Internet and interactive platforms. They effectively communicate and coordinate with the stakeholders to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message, and functions successfully for varying technical and performance specifications. The designer will be responsible for any design oriented tasks required, including:
• Website advertising landing page designs for a number of different websites
• Online advertising banner ad design and creation
• Website design and redesign
• Digital photographic retouching and adjustments
• Seasonal designs such as xmas cards, greetings cards, etc
• Stationary and other business asset design, such as business cards
• Brochure design
• T-shirt design
• etc

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of three years experience as a graphic designer in the following areas: Interactive, creative, and graphic design
• Minimum of one year experience in Web design and online marketing
• Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
• Ability to create superior, original designs for the Web
• Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet.
• Strong conceptual skills, including online software concepts and online experience concepts
• Solid understanding of internal client deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them.
• Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, Flash, CSS, and AJAX.
• Knowledge of Web site structure and functionality.
• Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media.
• Has demonstrated successful design and integration, and the delivery of projects on time.
• Ability to effective manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure

POSITION : Full-Time Graphic and Web Designer
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Graphic and Web Designer will produce web, print, and other marketing and communication pieces as required

QUALIFICATIONS :
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or related fields preferably with 1-2 years experience
– Strong portfolio including print and web design/banner advertising
– Experience with a web content management system (CMS), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
– Strong portfolio including print and web design/banner advertising
– Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator
– Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word. Excel. PowerPoint. Outlook.

1. The main house is 3 bedroom. The apartment is 2 bedroom. People need to have the option of booking one or both.

2. Once someone has decided to book the house I want them to be able to have some ‘add ons’. There will be a list of options from kilos of laundry to days of a car rental to hours of a boat ride to hours of babysitting service. The item will remain constant. What will change is that people can choose the quantity. There should also be a ‘Fill my Fridge’ option where there will be a list of items which can be ordered and put in the house in advance. This will be beer, milk, cereal, etc. Like the services, the items will remain constant and people can change the quantities.

All of the things will also add up similar to Amazon when you check out.

3. Similar to the guest book, I want people to be able to ‘Leave Their Favorite Sunset’. The house has a nice overwater sunset view and I would like to give people the opportunity to leave a nice sunset view.

4. There should be a promotion code password as well which I can give to people and change at will. Different passwords would give different discounts.

5. I will want the flags in the upper corner so I can change languages from Japanese to Hebrew, etc.

6. you should be able to look at a calender and see when it is open and when it is full

7. I would like the website to sit on a free or very, very inexpensive host

8. people should be able to make payments through the site including leaving a security deposit.

9. It should be done on wordpress. It is fine for me to use a template such as http://templatic.com/demos/?theme=vacationrental as long as it performs the functionality I need.

I have already written the narrative for the site. In the end I want to be able to manage the site myself. During the development of the site I want to be able to meet the person working on it in BKK and also be able to contact them in the future if I need any technical support.

Qualifications:
• Thai nationality or foreigner, age between 22 – 40 years old.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• At least 2 years working experience.
• Ability to optimize pages for efficient delivery and cross browser compatibility.

Basically, I will need my new webpages coded to be optimized for the Safari/Mozilla Firefox and IE browsers (if IE is possible too) and to be optimized for the Google and Baidu search engine (but really coding to optimize my webpages for search engines has been done already).
